RIVA Racing Sea-Doo Catch Can / Engine Breather Kit – RS19050-BCC-6
RS19050-BCC-6 is the latest RIVA Racing Sea-Doo catch can and engine breather kit and supersedes the earlier BCC-5 version. The latest BCC-6 kit is backwards compatible with earlier suitable Sea-Doo 4-TEC applications and also covers the latest high-output models, including 2027 Sea-Doo 350HP applications.
Designed to prevent crankcase fumes, steam and oil vapour from being drawn back into the engine air intake, the RIVA catch can helps keep the intake tract and intercooler cleaner while reducing oil contamination.
Why fit a Sea-Doo catch can?
- Separates oil vapour and crankcase contaminants before they reach the intake
- Helps maintain intercooler efficiency
- Reduces oil residue inside the intake system
- Translucent catch can makes fluid level easy to inspect
- Integrated drain valve for simple maintenance
- Anti-slosh tank foam controls fluid movement
- Includes breather filter, aluminium mounting bracket, hardware and installation instructions
Latest RS19050-BCC-6 version
This is the current RIVA Racing version. RS19050-BCC-6 supersedes the earlier RS19050-BCC-5 kit and is backwards compatible with earlier suitable applications. This allows one current kit to cover a wide range of Sea-Doo 4-TEC 1503 and 1630 engines, including earlier 215/230/255/260/300HP craft, 325HP models and the latest 2027 350HP Sea-Doo models.
Typical Sea-Doo applications
Applications include selected Sea-Doo GTI, GTI SE, GTR, GTR-X, GTX, GTX Limited, RXP, RXP-X, RXT, RXT-X, Wake, Wake Pro, Explorer Pro and FishPro models using compatible 4-TEC engines.
2027 update: suitable for the new Sea-Doo 350HP application where specified for RS19050-BCC-6.
Not suitable for 900cc Sea-Doo Spark engines. Always confirm model/year fitment before ordering if unsure.
Use & maintenance
- Maintain the engine oil level according to the Sea-Doo owner's manual
- Inspect the catch can periodically
- Drain collected fluid as required
- Do not clean the catch can with harsh solvents such as acetone, carb cleaner or brake cleaner
What collects in the catch can?
The collected liquid is normally a mixture of condensed oil vapour, fuel residue and moisture separated from the crankcase ventilation gases. Colour and consistency can vary, so the catch can should be checked and drained as part of normal maintenance.
